Today, we are going to tempt you with delightful, sugary treats ... CUPCAKES!! It's hard to find a person that doesn't love cupcakes ... because even if you aren't into sweet snacks, you can't not smile when you see a cupcake :) Well, we're smiling today and we hope you are, too! Here are what we feel are the Perfect 10 SF cupcakeries.  Also, keep in mind that our Perfect 10 posts are not in any certain order ... we love all our Perfect 10 Cupcakes equally and for different reasons :)

1. Kara's Cupcakes:  The cupcakes from Kara's are made by hand each day... and with flavors like Raspberry Dazzle, Chocolate Velvet, and Peanut Butter Chocolate Ganache, we can think of a reason to go there EVERYDAY!
2. That Takes the Cake: If you were told the main ingredients were love, kisses, and hugs ... wouldn't you be tempted to taste??  Well, then you'll want to go check out the cupcakes at That Takes the Cake :)
3. American Cupcake: Remember when you were a kid and cotton candy was such a delicious treat?!?  Well, if you're too old to fuss over sticky cotton candy, but crave the taste... you'll love the new flavor at America Cupcake!  Yep, you guessed it... Cotton Candy!
4. Love at First Bite: We just LOVE reading the names of the cupcakes on the menu at Love at First Bite ... a few to tempt your sweet tooth are Hummingbird, Lemon Kiss, and Ginger Babycakes!
5. Cakes 'n Cups:  This delightful sweet shop likes to remember the good old times of being a kid ... they bake those delightful memories into each tasty cupcake they make ... order cupcakes in mini or regular sizes :)
6. Sprinkles Cupcakes:  For those of you who love to bake at home, Sprinkles Cupcakes is PERFECT for you!!!  However, if you're not in the mood to spend time in the kitchen, but need your Sprinkles fix, they have a lovely storefront in Palo Alto :)
7. Citizen Cake:  When it comes to edible goodies, most people do 'judge a book by the cover' ... well, there will be no problem with the cupcakes from Citizen Cake ... they look as beautiful as they taste!
8. Miette Cakes: Named one of the top ten pastry shops in the world, Miette knows a thing or two about sugary sweetness ... and if you love cupcakes, but are craving another form of sugar, Miette can certainly indulge you!
9. Chestnut Bakery: They say their most popular cupcake is chocolate with vanilla buttercream frosting ... hey, you don't have to tell us twice!!  We're there!
10. Sibby's Cupcakery:  We have something in common with Sibby, founder of this darling cupcakery ... she used to enjoy cake for lunch and so do we!!  She clearly did her research, because her baked goods are simply delectable :)
